thorns were another over looked band that came out of the revolution summer scene not from dc but from virgina, kinda reminds me of a faster ignition for some reason. recorded in 87 at the inner ear studio mix by ian mackaye him self, aside from this 7''er they also put out an lp and had a track on the state of the union comp but progress is my favorite thorns release check it out

holy fucking christ i have honestly been looking for this record and their Lp for like 20 years...haha. everyone i ask about thorns thinks i'm crazy or made it up. thank you thank you. if you can track down that Lp i would be forever grateful! happy day!
