VANILLA -s/t ep

Vanilla - s/t ep .... don't know much about the record or the band just that vanilla were part of the early 90's french emo/ hardcore scene along side Fingerprint, Ivich, Jasmine this is there first record on LNJ records from the early 90's. that's about it if you got more info post in the comments also i think vanilla was made up of ex members of another french hardcore band vanilla release other material but this one shines to me.

INSPIRIT - compilation 7''

7 inch emo should be the new name of this blog..... I'm planing on posting lp's soon really... I'm am eventually. 7''inchers are just easier for me right now any ways on with the post.
INSPIRIT a compilation benefiting victims of sexual violence... 7'' on ancestry/static records from back in 94. this is a great comp the music is exceptional each band dropping down some of there best material for a good cause benefiting and raising awareness of sexual abuse and assault the first of its kind in our scene i could remember. Inspirit booklet insert had more than lyrics, also had writing's from multi people sharing there personal stories and experience being victims of sexual abuse and rape. this made the subject of the record much more real and important. the bands on this 7'' are Amber Inn, Coleman, Elements of Need and the Fisticuffs Bluff.

kill holiday - monitor dependency ep

originally formed as a project band by members of unbroken and amenity, this is kill holidays first release put out after unbrokens split up in 1995. kill holiday would go on to release more records and have their share of member changes ultimately changing their sound to something almost mainstream by their last lp. on this record though its pure emotional hardcore loud, heavy and griping lyrics that stick in your head also contains one of my favorite songs cold shoulder.

prozac memory - chisel tone/mapmaker 7''

prozac memorys second 7'' from 94 one of my personal favorites mapmaker is a classic. prozac were a great emo band out of Columbia, MIssouri they put out two eps a split lp with back of dave and were on a couple comps. sadly they were only around for a few short years 91-95 but put out lots of good music in that time and these two songs are some of there best.

thorns progress ep

thorns were another over looked band that came out of the revolution summer scene not from dc but from virgina, kinda reminds me of a faster ignition for some reason. recorded in 87 at the inner ear studio mix by ian mackaye him self, aside from this 7''er they also put out an lp and had a track on the state of the union comp but progress is my favorite thorns release check it out
